The 3rd Global Automotive Wheel Innovation Technology Summit 2026 Successfully Concluded

The 3rd Global Automotive Wheel Innovation Technology Summit was successfully held on March 21 at Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. Organized by the China Aluminum Wheel Quality Association (CAW) and CIMP. The summit was one of the featured events of the GIVC Global Intelligent Vehicle Conference series and AutoEcosystems, and brought together experts, scholars, business leaders, and technical professionals from the global wheel industry for in-depth discussions on technological innovation, industrial upgrading, and global development.

Zhang Xinying, President of the China Aluminum Wheel Quality Association, and Liu Jingyun, Tire and Wheel Project Director CIMP, delivered opening remarks to mark the start of the summit. They extended a warm welcome to guests from China and overseas, and noted that amid the major trends of electrification, intelligent development, and lightweighting in the automotive industry, the automotive wheel sector is entering a new phase of opportunities and challenges. And expressed the summit would serve as an efficient platform for exchange, promoting collaborative innovation and deeper cooperation across the global industry chain.


During the conference, Wang Xiaodong, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Aluminum Wheel Quality Association, released the Special Report on 2025 China Aluminum Wheel Industry Production and Sales Data. The report provided a comprehensive review of the industry’s current development status, market landscape, import and export trends, and future direction, offering authoritative data references and decision-making support for enterprises.

Zhang Yijia, Director of Wheel Industry Solutions at Zhejiang Yuansuan Technology Co., Ltd., presented the company’s intelligent wheel R&D solution, featuring simulation automation designed to be faster, more efficient, and easier to use. The presentation highlighted the application results of simulation automation technology in improving R&D efficiency and accuracy.

Yu Weiming, General Manager of Nanjing Xiangwen Polymer Technology Co., Ltd., introduced a primer-free polyurea coating system for aluminum wheels, providing new approach to environmentally friendly wheel coating processes.

Yin Zhigao, Deputy General Manager of the R&D Management Department at CITIC Dicastal, presented and interpreted the winning wheel products of 2025 CIMP CUP, the 13th  Wheel Design Competition.

Chen Kangyuan, Product Manager at Guangzhou Realibox Information Technology, delivered a presentation titled “From Manufacturing to Branding: AI + 3D Digital Technologies Empowering Wheel Manufacturers’ Global D2C Transformation.” He explored how digital tools can help wheel manufacturers strengthen their global market expansion and accelerate their transition toward a D2C model.

Zhang Xinying, President of the China Aluminum Wheel Quality Association, shared a keynote speech titled “Reflections Inspired by OpenClaw…” Drawing on the concept of deploying and managing AI agents, he encouraged deeper thinking on precision management and ecosystem-based development in the industry.

At the end of the summit, Zhang Xinying, President of the China Aluminum Wheel Quality Association, delivered the closing remarks. He noted that this year’s summit brought together the collective expertise and strength of the wheel industry. From the sharing of cutting-edge technologies to the release of production and sales data, the summit fully demonstrated the industry’s solid progress toward intelligent, green, and global development. He emphasized that the aluminum wheel industry should further strengthen collaborative innovation, advance the development of industry standards, and deepen cooperation across the upstream and downstream value chain, winning market recognition through quality and brand strength.
